Westgate is a community in Calgary’s southwest. The area was annexed by the City of Calgary in 1956 and development began shortly afterwards.

The boundaries of the community are Bow Trail to the north, 45 Street to the east, 17 Avenue to the south, and Sarcee Trail to the west.
